A late 19th century Indian brass tray top table, engraved with figures and gods, with traces of polychrome decoration, on a folding carved hardwood stand, 19in (48cm) h, 24.25in (61cm) dia. Provenance: John Forbes Bryant M.A., F.G.S.I.C.S. (1871-1963) who was a member of the elite civil service in India (known as the heaven born) from 1895-1922.
