An Indian carved rosewood centre table, the rectangular top with a relief carved band of flowers and scrolling foliage, with pierced aprons and on lion monopodia supports, 2nd half 19th century, probably Bombay, 28.75in (73cm) h, 43.25in (110cm) w, 32in (81cm) d. Provenance: John Forbes Bryant M.A., F.G.S.I.C.S. (1871-1963) who was a member of the elite civil service in India (known as the heaven born) from 1895-1922.
