The July Furniture & Works of Art Sale has a varied mixture of items dating from the early 17th century right up to the 20th century. We have a strong Oak and Country section with a good collection of early treen nutcrackers, Swedish textiles and a rare Charles II cedarwood enclosed chest. From the 18th century the highlights include an Irish four poster bed and a pair of Hepplewhite period chest of drawers. The sale also features a good selection of needleworks and carpets including: a collection of silk embroideries, a set of fine early 19th century silk curtains formerly at Cricket House and a rare Italian bed hanging with its original receipt from 1901.
