inlaid with various fruitwoods and green stained bone, with panels of tulips, birds, leaves, flowers and with a central urn, the moulded cornice above a cushion drawer, the hinged fall with a later plush lined writing surface, revealing pigeonholes with secret compartments behind, above an arrangement of ten drawers, one for pen and ink, around a central cupboard, with three further drawers, the base fitted with two short and two long drawers, on later bun feet
