A French bronze inkwell in the form of the Vendome Column, the lift-off top revealing apertures for two inkwells and with a lift-out tray, the base with a printed paper trade label inscribed 'A.GIROUX & Cie Rue du Coq St. Honore, No 7 Paris', first half 19th century, 30.8cm high.
