Henri Michel Antoine Chapu (French 1833-1891). 'La Jeunesse' a late 19th century gilt and patinated bronze, of a classical lady holding a laurel branch, the base signed 'Chapu', stamped 'F. BARBEDIENNE. FONDEUR', with Collas pastille, 59.5cm high, 17.8cm wide, mounted on a plush covered wooden plinth.
