λ An early Victorian rosewood sewing box
λ An early Victorian rosewood sewing box, inlaid with mother of pearl and abalone, with a bird, flowers and leaves and inlaid with a fine brass band, the interior with a letter pouch to the lid and with a lift-out tray fitted with twelve mother of pearl reel holders, with three lidded compartments and fitted with utensils and with two ceramic thimbles, 12.5cm high, 30.5cm wide.
