λ An Anglo-Indian ivory work box, Vizagaptam, of sarcophagus form, with bands of lac decorated foliage, the horn edged sandalwood interior with a divided lift-out tray with lidded compartments, ivory reel holders, a pin cushion, the lid inset a navette shaped plaque with a monogram, to a metal lion mask ring handles and paw feet, first half 19th century, 12.4cm high, 22.5cm wide, 15cm deep.
