A small mid Victorian tortoiseshell snuff box by Joseph Robert Pearce, the hinged lid with a white metal plaque, to a paper lined interior, the base with the remains of a paper trade label inscribed 'SOLD by J.R. PEARCE 77 Cornhill, London', on ceramic feet, 3.2cm high, 4.9cm wide.
