We were delighted to offer over sixty lots from a single owner collection, with some very fine early 19th century French objets d’art, three once belonging to Henri d’Orléans, the Comte de Paris. The earliest work of art in the sale is lot 33 a rare Tudor burr maple mazer bowl dating from c.1480-1520. The sale also featured a George III dressing table by Gillows of Lancaster, a very rare early 17th century Spanish credenza and an unusual 19th century stuffed Galápagos Island giant tortoise. The sale concluded with over fifty lots of arms and armour.
