A George III mahogany and marquetry tea chest, with ebony banding, barber's pole stringing and satinwood panels, inlaid with foliage and fan paterae, spandrels and parquetry stars, the hinged lid with a turned bone handle revealing an interior fitted with three lift-out lidded canisters with tulipwood banding, 13.3cm high, 23.2cm wide, 13.2cm deep.
