λ An early 19th century tortoiseshell etui, the hinged lid with a vacant plaque revealing a silk lined divided interior with ivory edging, fitted with a thimble and lacking the majority of its content, together with a tortoiseshell patch box, of sarcophagus shape, the hinged lid inset with a mirror to the underside, 10.7cm (max).
