A George III mahogany barrel front sideboard

A George III mahogany barrel front sideboard, inlaid stringing, the crossbanded top above two drawers flanked by a cellaret drawer and a cupboard, the left side with a secret compartment, on square tapering legs to spade feet, 36.25in (91.8cm) h, 84in (213.6cm) w, 32in (81cm) d. Previously with a rail, handles replaced, old damages and losses with restoration. Provenance: Trafalgar House, Near Salisbury, Wiltshire.
