A George III mahogany serpentine chest in the manner of Chippendale and Haig, the crossbanded top inlaid with stringing and with a moulded edge, above four long graduated drawers flanked by canted angles, carved with a classical column with a vase, stiff leaves, a fluted stem and entrelac and bead collars, on leaf carved vase and ribbed bun feet, 91.5cm high, 104.3cm wide, 54.5cm deep.
