A petrified wood specimen, of sliced cross-section form, the top polished to reveal a multitude of colours, with some growth rings visible, probably Snake River, North America, Triassic period, 225 million years old, 48 x 50cm, 3cm deep.

Provenance: Acquired from Peclard, Zurich in 1973.
