A mahogany twin pedestal desk in Chippendale style by Spillman, the top inset with a tooled leather writing surface within a ribbon and floret carved edge, above an arrangement of nine drawers, one with an ivorine trade label inscribed 'SPILLMAN & CO. ST. MARTINS LANE, LONDON', on castors, late 19th century, 77.3cm high, 123.3cm wide, 77cm deep.
