A rosewood secretaire cabinet, the detachable cornice above a pair of gilt metal grille and fabric backed doors, enclosing three adjustable slides, the base with four drawers the top satinwood veneered and fitted with pigeon holes and drawers with an inkwell and pentray on front carved ebonised and parcel gilt paw feet, 19th century and later, 74.25in (188.7cm), 40in (101.3cm) w, 18.5in (47cm) d. Some veneer loss, one return moulding off but present, back feet later.
