A wood model of the clipper ship 'Caliph', on a cradle and in a glazed case, the front with a brass plaque inscribed 'Caliph, 563 tons, Clipper Ship Launched 1869. Designed for the China Tea Trade. Disappeared on Voyage to Shanghai 1871,' 27.75in (70.5cm) h, 36.5in (93cm) w, with two scale prints of the ship. (3)
