A camphorwood trunk

A camphorwood trunk, brass bound, with side carrying handles and a sunken handle to the front of the lid, previously with plaque to the centre later stenciled 'I.A. Thornquist, Bergen, Norway', 18in (46cm) h, 39.75in (101cm) w, 20in (51cm) d. Ingolf Arthur Thornquist, was serving as first mate on S.S. Ravnanger, in 1940.
