A 19th century Persian shamshir, with a curved blade, stamped, to a steel cross-piece with differing script cartouches either side and foliage and pierced quillons, the ribbed horn handle with further text between, tip of handle missing, 38.25in (97cm) l, and another with a fullered blade, stamped script and an animal with a bone handle.
