A Victorian carved giltwood square stool, with a distressed silk covered serpentine top, the underside with a printed label with a 'crowned M and Private Property', one leg stamped 'V.M Princess of Wales', 19.75in (50cm) h, 20.25in (51cm) sq. Provenance: Princess Alice, H.R.H. The Duchess of Gloucester, Kensington Palace. Sold to the vendor in May 1976.
