A 19th century French woolwork picture, depicting a peasant lady with a basket with a cottage beyond, signed and dated '25 Aout 1842', 13.25 x 9.25in (33.5 x 23.5cm) in a mahogany and glazed frame, together with a 19th century floral needlework in a rosewood and glazed frame. (2) Provenance: the dated picture bought from Isobel Rhodes, Hadleigh, Suffolk in 1989.
