worked with polychrome silks on a linen ground, with various stitches and techniques, including: satin, eyelet, petit point and cross, with the Lord's Prayer, Creed and Grace, flanked by candlesticks on plinths, with angel's masks and tasselled drapes, above Adam and Eve with the Tree of Knowledge entwined by the serpent, flanked by a pair of strawberry cartouches, signed and dated 'Susannah Platt her work finish & in the 10th year of her age 1776', in a later glazed Hogarth type frame
