An 18th century oak longcase clock, the associated 8 day movement striking on a bell to a 12in square brass dial, the chapter ring inscribed 'William Barnard Newark', to a matted centre with subsidiary seconds dial numbered '807' and calendar aperture, the hood with a bell top and a blind fret frieze, the trunk with an arched door, the stepped base to bracket feet, 89in (226cm) h.
