A 19th century French tortoiseshell sewing box

A 19th century French tortoiseshell sewing box, the hinged lid revealing a lift-out tray fitted various mother-of-pearl handled instruments including: a pair of scissors, a silk winder, a stiletto, a thimble and and a glass salt bottle, on ball feet, 2.5in (5.9cm) h, 6.5in (15.9cm) w, 4.5in (11.4cm) d. Damages to mirror and scissors, some losses.
