A matched pair of mahogany open armchairs in Hepplewhite style one Gill & Reigate, London, each with a palmette carved back with out-scrolling leaf carved arms with floret terminals on moulded downswept supports to a serpentine stuffed-over seat upholstered differing needlework, on fluted tapering legs, the underside of one chair stamped 'GILL & REIGATE, LONDON', late 19th century.
