Two pairs of Portland stone bookends, and a matching ashtray, with Tudor rose and portcullis lead plaques inscribed 'THIS STONE CAME FROM THE HOUSES OF PARLIAMENT', c.1941, 14.9cm high (max). (5)
These items were made from the stone of the Houses of Parliament after damage caused in the Blitz by the German air raids.
