An early 18th century carved and stained wood figure of a victorious warrior queen in the manner of Laurent Delvaux, the monarch standing on rocky base strewn with a crown and a ribbon tied garter medal with a Maltese cross, she supports a sword in her right hand and holds a scroll in her left and wearing a laurel crown, probably personifying Victory, possibly Flemish or French, 68.7cm high.
Provenance: Purchased from Colefax & Fowler in the early 1980s.
