A 17th century brass oval snuff box

A 17th century brass oval snuff box, one side engraved with fleur-de-lis and inscribed 'Daniel Gilbert 1692', the other side later engraved with a ribbon inscribed 'Licence from my Taster Without a not here to be a Master Atte mpt' the centre 'WM ORAM Charterhouse LONDON February 6th 1852', 9.5cm wide, an early 19th century brass oval combination lock snuff box and a brass hand paper clip.
