A 19th century French carved coquilla nut bugbear flask, decorated with three oval panels, one carved with a European figure in full military uniform, possibly Emperor Maximilian I of Mexico, a European military officer, and a South American nobleman and his wife in Mexican dress, with a grotesque end, 7.2cm long.
