A Regency tortoiseshell bowfront tea caddy, with pewter stringing to the sloping hinged cover inset a silver plaque initialled W.M.C, with a moulded front panel with vacant silver plaque on plated ball feet, with a twin lidded, lined interior, with coral handles, 6in (15cm) h, 7.25in (18.4cm) w, 4.25in (10.7cm) d. Minor losses to t/s, lifting in places, crack between escutcheon and plaque.
