Paul Fitzsimmons: A Life in Oak (Part 2)

See Part 1 here

Woolley and Wallis is proud to present Paul Fitzsimmons: A Life in Oak, an extraordinary single-owner sale comprising more than 700 lots, drawn from one of the most distinctive and intellectually rigorous collections of early furniture and sculpture formed in recent decades. Offered over two days on 10th and 11th March 2026, this sale reflects more than 35 years of dedicated collecting by Paul Fitzsimmons, proprietor of Marhamchurch Antiques in Devon. Guided by principles more akin to that of a private collector or curator, his focus has consistently been on the acquisition of rare, unusual, and historically important objects, particularly those that are undocumented or little understood, where presence, authenticity, and significance outweigh surface perfection.
