A Victorian mahogany and bird's eye maple cotton reel holder, the top with a pin cushion above two tiers on a turned base, 8.75in (22.2cm) h, together with an early 19th century leather sarcophagus shape sewing box, the hinged lid inset a brass plaque inscribed 'Caroline', the interior with a lift-out tray fitted with bone implements, a seal, a pair of steel scissors, two thimbles etc, on cast paw feet, 4.5in (11.6cm) h, 9.5in (24cm) w, 6in (15cm) d. The sewing box in need of restoration. (2)
