A George III ebony and silver mounted tipstaff, the ends and central collar with scallop edges, engraved and inscribed; one end with a falcon holding an olive branch, a portcullis and 'Willm Bindley OFFICER for ye four Counties, 1778'; the centre with 'ROOKER OFFICER January 18th 1765, JOHN LANGLEY 1767'; the other end with 'The Royal Coat of Arms, G.CLUBBE IPSWICH 1802', and a hand holding a tipstaff, unmarked, 8.75in (22.5cm) l.
