An early 18th century Anglo-Dutch walnut and marquetry lace box, the hinged cover centred a bird with scrolling foliage, revealing a padded and divided interior with a rectangular bevelled plate mirror, two various compartments and marbled paper lined hidden drawers, with a base moulding, 5in (12.5cm) h, 20.75in (53cm) w, 16in (41cm) d. Foil to mirror plate worn.
