A Victorian burr walnut and ebony dressing case, the hinged lid inset with an engraved brass plaque inscribed 'Ella Waddell January 23rd 1875', the compartmented interior with a leather lined mirror to the lid and with various divisions fitted with cut glass silver topped bottles, jars and containers engraved with strapwork and with monogram 'EW', the silver hallmarked London 1874, with steel and mother of pearl handled utensils, with a side drawer fitted with two ivory bushes and with a base writing and jewellery drawer with a silk lined divided interior and with a leather writing surface, 19.2cm high, 30.7cm wide, 22.5cm deep.
