A Regency burr yew octagonal needlework box

A Regency burr yew octagonal needlework box, with boxwood stringing the hinged tent-top with a swing handle and with a vacant interior, 18.3cm high, 29.5cm wide.

Provenance: The collection of the late Dr. Hugh Statham. Dr and Mrs Statham were founder members of the English Ceramic Circle and they were collectors of fine English furniture and works of art.
