An early 20th century American gilt bronze and velvet humidor by Edward Caldwell, in the Renaissance revival style decorated with grotesque masks, scrolling strapwork and a pair of cherubs supporting a vacant cartouche, the silvered metal interior with a lid enclosing four divisions, one hinge inscribed 'E.H. Caldwell & Co. New York', 10.1cm high, 41.7cm wide, 31.5cm deep.
