A late 19th century French siena marble mantel clock
A late 19th century French siena marble mantel clock, the eight day movement with an outside countwheel, striking on a bell, the backplate stamped 'C468' and with makers stamp, the circular dial with Roman numerals and pierced hands, inscribed 'Freres Soevi et Cie A PARIS', the architectural case with ormolu mounts, the top with a stack of books, 40.4cm high, 23.5cm wide, 13cm deep.
