A late 18th century Dutch mahogany and yew table de transformation
A late 18th century Dutch mahogany and yew table de transformation, inlaid with ebony and sycamore banding and with gilt bronze draped mounts, the hinged top opening to reveal a later leather lined writing surface and a rising suprastructure fitted with four pigeon holes and five drawers around a central cupboard with a tambour shutter, with a further hinged leaf to the reverse above a dummy front on square tapering legs and block feet, 77cm high, 85.3cm wide, 42.5cm deep (closed).
