A set of six 18th century Anglo-Dutch walnut and marquetry dining chairs, each with a shell carved top rail above a leaf and scroll decorated splat inlaid with an urn of flowers, with a floral needlework drop-in seat, on shell capped cabriole legs and claw and ball feet. (6)

The Kent Gallery, London, purchased on 1st April 1925 for £420.
Recently removed from Gavelacre House, Longparish, Hampshire.
