An early 19th century Scottish Mauchline ware sycamore and penwork snuffbox

An early 19th century Scottish Mauchline ware sycamore and penwork snuffbox, the hinged lid decorated with a scene of a pair of lovers sat on a garden bench, the front inscribed 'PRESENTED To M. J. R. Williams late of the Theatre Royal by several young Gentlemen of ABERDEEN as a mark of respect for his private character and admiration of his Theatrical Talents', the base with a view of a street scene, 8cm wide.
