λ An 18th century Italian painted vellum fan, with bone sticks, the guards inlaid with pique work and mother of pearl, the leaf painted with a scene of Judith holding the decapitated head of Holofernes, with the city of Bethulia in the distance, 41.5cm (across), together with a 19th century Chinese export ivory and painted paper double sided fan (damages). (2)

Provenance: Kincraig House, Invergordon, formerly the home of the Mackenzies.
