A late 19th century French bronze and ebonised clock inkstand
A late 19th century French bronze and ebonised clock inkstand, with a drum movement by Henry Marc, with an outside countwheel striking on a bell, stamped on the backplate, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals and signed 'HRY MARC A PARIS', flanked by two cherubs one with a book the other with a lyre, with a pair of glass inkwells flanking a pen tray and two lidded compartments, 29.8cm high, 47.3cm wide.
