A George III mahogany longcase clock by John Ross London, the eight day movement with an anchor escapement and five turned pillars striking on a bell, the 12in brass arched dial with a silvered chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals with subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, inscribed John Ross London', with Rococo spandrels, the arch with a Strike/Silent dial, the brass mounted case with an arched hood with urn finials and Corinthian stop fluted columns, the case with outline mouldings and split quarter pilasters, 227cm high.
