A William IV ebonised repeating mantel clock by William Chambers London, the twin fusee movement with a platform lever escapement striking on a gong, the brass dial finely engraved with scrolling foliage and with Roman numerals, inscribed 'WILLIAM CHAMBERS 18 POWELL ST EAST KING SQUARE LONDON', in an architectural ebonised pear wood case with flattened bun feet, 25.3cm high.

Provenance: Purchased by the vendor's family in 1966 from The Windhill Antiquary for £75. With original receipt.
