Siebes's Improved Diving Apparatus, 1844, Recovered under the Superintendence of Lt. H. Barlow R. E.'; a carved wood boxer dog's head handle and with a silver ferrule indistinctly inscribed, a horn handled cane inlaid brass stars and a vacant cartouche, a continental white metal handled cane with a malacca shaft, an antler handled example, a bamboo cane with a crook handle, a palmwood cane and two others, 39.5in (100cm) l, max.
