A Normandy bleached walnut armoire, the moulded cornice above a frieze centred a panel with a central star issuing palm fromds, above a pair of panelled doors carved with shells enclosing a later divided interior with brass rails and shelves, late 18th / early 19th century, to a moulded base and on flattened bun feet, 87.25in (221.8cm) h, 64.75in (164.6cm) w, 27in (68.5cm) d.
