A mid 18th century mahogany bureau cabinet, the moulded cornice above a pair of later arched bevelled mirror doors, enclosing pigeon holes and drawers, the adjustable shelves missing, above candle slides and a fitted interior with a central cupboard door and locking secret pilaster compartments, pigeon holes and drawers, one fitted for ink, the fall with an applied bookrest above a frieze drawer with lopers, a girdle moulding above three long graduated drawers, on bracket feet, possibly Scottish, 83.75in (213cm) h, 42in (107cm) w, 23.75in (60.5cm) d. In need of restoration.
