A pair of George III silver mounted flintlock pistols by Joseph Griffin, London, each with a 9in brass barrel inscribed GRIFFIN LONDON, stained walnut stocks with bulbouus butts, carved shells around the tang, the locks inscribed GRIFFIN, the silver mounts including a flower engraved trigger guard, ram rod locators, cast and chased grotesque butt caps, vacant cartouches and open scroll and shell side plates, maker I.K, London 1769, with ram rods.
